All service stations having a throughput higher than 100,000 litres must comply with the technical provisions in Annex III of the Directive.
The operators of service stations handling petrol to seek registration with MEPA. The latter can not operate unless they are duly registered. In order for MEPA to register service stations, the latter must be certified by an approved auditor that they are complaint with the requirements for service stations above.
