Firework Depot Application in Dingli
 
The Malta Environment and Planning Authority (MEPA) makes reference to Planning application number 3486/09 to replace the existing explosives factory with a fireworks factory depot at a site known as Il-Qaws in Dingli.

The Authority had withdrawn this application after the Planning Directorate had   requested further information and clearances from the architect but these were not forthcoming.

With the Explosives Committee having not issued its clearance for this proposal, the Planning directorate’s position will remain that of recommending this application for a refusal.
