Environment and Planning Commissions

What functions does EPC (Division A) have?

The Environment and Planning Commission (Division A) shall deal with all types of development proposed to be located outside development zones; all types of development proposed within an urban conservation boundary, or village core boundary; all types of development within a design priority area; and all types of development proposed to be located in a white area which, although being located in a development zone, has no specific designation for development.

The EPC (Division A) is currently composed as follows:

What functions does EPC (Division B) have?

The Environment and Planning Commission (Division B) shall deal with all types of development permission applications pertaining to development proposed within the development boundaries but excluding the types of development permission applications falling under the remit of the EPC (Divisioin A); all types of development proposed to be located in an area regulated by villa zoning and conditions; all types of development proposed to be located in an area regulated by bungalow zoning and conditions; and applications submitted in accordance with the provisions of article 28 of the Development Planning Act or article 59 of the Environment and Development Planning Act (normally referred to as Planning Control Applications).


The EPC (Division B) is currently composed as follows:
