The project “Effectiveness Evaluation” was funded by the European Environment Agency (EEA).
The global aim of the project was to conduct a survey covering the impact of the preparation process on the EEA governance network for the European Environment - State and Outlook 2005 report.
In its proposal, subsequently approved for funding by the EEA, MEPA assembled a multi-disciplinary expert team with a range of experience in spatial and environmental planning and management, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), environmental economics and sustainability issues.
Following a restricted tendering procedure, the contract was awarded to MEPA in June 2006. The total budget for this project was €22,000.
The project was completed in December 2006.
Within MEPA, the project was coordinated by the Information & Communication Technology Unit with assistance from the EU and Multilateral Affairs Unit.
