The Authority

MEPA’s main premises can be found at St. Francis Ravelin in Floriana and a second office can be found at Hexagon House in Marsa.  The former houses our Corporate Services Directorate and Planning Directorate, as well as the Chairman’s Office and the Development Control Commission whilst the latter houses are Environment Protection Directorate.

Our people at MEPA are our greatest asset.  At MEPA we leverage unique talents and skills to drive our business performance.  With a considerable number of employees and a high percentage of specialised staff, we make sure that this knowledge and expertise is transformed into an efficient service to the public.
Our professional staff have a specialisation in diverse fields such as planning, architecture, environment, information technology, land surveying, geography, European Union, business and administration, amongst others, whilst our technical and clerical staff possess a baggage of knowledge and expertise in the units and sections they work in.

Development/Opportunities

As a MEPA staff member you will have the opportunity to work with a number of professionals within the organisation as well as with external stakeholders.  Furthermore, many of our staff work on challenging projects even at international level.
